We got LBB this Stack & Sort Board a few months ago, and he plays with it off and on. He really enjoys it, and quickly figured out how to get the shapes on the peg. Then he quickly figured out that they all go together.
And then today, he sat down with it on his own and put every single block on the right peg. :) He'd start to put one on the wrong peg, giggle, and say "No." Then he would move it over to the night peg and go back to work. :) So sweet.
After he played with it once, he did it again, this time handing me blocks every so often and pointing to the peg that they belonged to...what a smartie pants! And such a good sharer too. Now that he's gotten the sorting down pat, we are going to move on to the extension activites...it will be great for helping him learn to count.
It's always the best feeling watching him learn something and really get it down. I know that as he gets older, that feeling will never go away...and it makes me thankful that I'm the one that gets to teach him!
Now I'm off to try and get LBB settled for a nap...I'm exhausted and his mood is showing some pretty good signs that he is a tad tired as well!
